PETKIT makes automatic litter boxes, and its listings are the most complete we read in the whole niche.
Five numbers that decide a purchase, all published. 48 cm of internal diameter, 52 cm of height, a 20 cm entry, a 2–8 kg weight range, and cats under six months excluded. Most competitors publish a drum volume and a photograph.
The limits are stated rather than hidden. No crystal litter. No carpet — PETKIT says the sensors misbehave on it. The tri-proof liner replaced every 20 to 30 days. Those are constraints, they are inconvenient, and they are on the listing.
The safety system has a name and a description. xSecure: infrared, weight sensing, an anti-pinch barrier and a remote alert. On a machine that turns with an animal inside, a manufacturer that describes its interlocks in detail is telling you something about how it was designed.
Both boxes carry one reference across five or six markets. The PUROBOT was not listed on Amazon US when we checked.
